Choose your Blowdry

Don’t know the difference between a beach wave and a wavy blowdry?Indecisive about a curly blowdry or pin-up curls?

Let our explanation help.

What does a blowdry do?

Hair strands are primarily composed of protein, which are composed of elements such as hydrogen. These hydrogen bonds are very weak and can be broken by water. This means when your hair is wet, it can be easily manipulated; straightened, curled, smoothed, etc. reforming the hydrogen bonds in the shape you dry them.

Types of Blowdries

Getting a straight blowdry will leave you with poker straight, sleek hair. This will minimise any frizz and give you a simple, classic, tidy look.

With a wavy blowdry, your hair is blowdried and curled uniformly, then brushed out into gorgeous, soft waves.

Your hair will be blowdried straight for a bouncy blowdry and the ends curled up with a round brush to create a beautiful bounce and movement.

For a curly blowdry, your hair is blowdried with a large round brush to create volume and soft curls at the ends.

To create beach waves, your hair will be blowdried straight and then curled randomly with a curling wand, then shaken loose to form perfectly messy curls.

For pin up curls, your hair will be blowdried then pinned up in individual curls. These are heat-free curls and are often left in overnight while you sleep to set, so you wake up with full-volume, Hollywood-worthy hair.
